Those in charge of the expeditions are professional mountain guides (EPGAM, AAGM, or UIAGM) with many years of experience and multiple summits on Mount Aconcagua.
All of them speak Spanish and English.
The guides leading the groups have the safety of all team members as their principal concern, following the strictest safety standards, and if the conditions that can be present in an expedition of this kind will permit, they will lead the group to the summit.
Mountain Guides know Aconcagua's routes, its climate and the symptoms related with altitude sickness. For these reasons, climbers wishing to take part in our expedition should follow the guides' advice since they are based in a wealth of experience on Mount Aconcagua and they will do it according to security measures required from the company to guarantee the protection of our visitors and try in every way possible to reach the summit in a secure fashion.
Due to the increasing number of customers who take part in the expeditions, year after year new mountain guides are incorporated following a thorough process of selection to first be placed as other guides' assistants for several climbing seasons before they can lead their own expeditions.
The guides that lead expeditions have a minimum of 20 Aconcagua summits.
We are proud of this group of mountain guides. They are a fundamental part of our success.
